A comprehensive Home management programme is run by the school with the twin objective of preparing student for the best possible grades in the home economics subjects, as well as providing practical tutorials on how to run home. In line with the curriculum, the three areas of focus are Foods & Nutrition unit, Clothing & Textile unit and Home Management unit, each equipped with the most modern facilities for optimum utility to the student. Under each unit; students have the opportunity of learning varied domestic skills including dress making, knitting, sewing, laying the table, cake baking, snacks, variety of recipies for diverse local and International dishes etc.

In our effort to train the mind, body and soul. Sporting activities are given top priority. Standard equipment for indoor and outdoor games are available in the school. In addition, students are exposed to excellent sporting facilities, which are available within the locality. Available sporting activities include Table tennis, Lawn Tennis, Basket ball, volley ball, handball, Chess, Hockey, Athletics, among others. Every two years, the school hosts an elaborate inter house sports meeting to which students from parallel institutions are invited to compete for honours.

High premium is placed on guidance and counseling in view of the sensitive nature of our students as they plough through the adventurous world of adolescence into adulthood. With the help of a professional counselor and teachers acting as loco-parents in the school, the authorities closely monitor the students and strive always to achieve a balanced moral and academic growth.

The school is equally concerned with the future of the students after leaving Mind Builders High School, As a result, highly illuminating career talk and “internship programmes” are organized periodically for the senior students. They benefit immensely from the programmes which feature men and women of remarkable professional achievements acting as mentors to them.

We believe that our students should have the opportunity to learn, not only in the classroom, but also by making use of the beautiful environment in which we live. The students are therefore encouraged to participate in, at least one variety of co-curricular activities aimed at healthy interaction as well as preparing them for leadership roles.

Some of the clubs and societies available in the school are : The Girl Guide, Red Cross, Choir, Literary and Debating, JETS, Young Farmers, Chess, Drama, Press, Homemakers etc. To achieve our objective of an all-around development and to broaden our students‘ horizon, excursions and study visits are periodically organized to various places of Historical or educational significance either within the country or beyond.

The innate creative talents of our students are allowed full expressions in the Art and Craft classes where varieties of tools are available for their use. Tutored by experienced artists, the students are exposed to various forms of art including life drawing, tie and dye or clothe designs, painting, advertising designs, pottery and much more.

Intensive tuition ensures that the students become thoroughly familiar with all aspects of the syllabus. At Mind Builders High School , students received six hours of tuition per day. In addition, students are expected to follow up on their work by completing assignments and studying using textbooks, notebooks and the internet.

Our teachers help students develop examination techniques and strategies so that the end of their study they are able to apply the knowledge they have gained to achieve good grades. Our teachers ensure that learning is stimulating and enjoyable by encouraging directed discussion which goes on well after lessons. Adequate time is allocated for general interaction in class every week.
