Dear Parents and Visitors,

Welcome to the website of Mind Builders School. I thank you in advance, knowing fully that you will take time to surf through the information we have provided and sincerely hope that all your questions would have been answered by the time you complete the exercise.

At Mind Builders School, our vision is to be a foremost educational institution that is driven by excellence. We have been running with this vision since 1998 and we have not relented on this pursuit till date.

Our core values are Excellence, Integrity and Fear of God. For over two decades, we have been striving to produce children who can face the challenges of the future, hence our motto is: “Building your child for tomorrow’s challenges.”

We strongly believe that manners matter, hence, we have inculcated etiquette into our curriculum. We train our pupils to be well-mannered and this has been one of our unique selling points. Furthermore, the school has distinguished itself in the area of academic excellence. However, I wish to state that while the school daily strives to produce pupils who are academically outstanding, it also has a programme for pupils who have academic challenges. Our Academic Support Programme, has helped in no little way, to assist pupils who have academic challenges and we have been recording a great success with pupils in this category over the years.

At Mind Builders School, we strongly believe that every child has the right to quality education and learning, hence we accommodate inclusive education. We allow children with mild disabilities like mild autism, hyperactivity, speech disorders and other mild challenges to learn alongside other regular children.

Beyond the academic achievements, Mind Builders School is also well-reputed for its co-curricular activities. Every child is expected be a member of a Uniform Club as well as a Non-Uniform Club. Our pupils are also taught Ballet, Contemporary Dance and Drama. Furthermore, the school has also carved a niche for itself in the area of Music, Sports and other co-curricular activities. We also run a football academy called PRMBSSA which is an acronym for Peter Rufai Mind Builders School Soccer Academy. This Soccer Academy, which is run by Peter Rufai (the former Captain and Goal Keeper of Nigerian National Football Team) and his crew, has been able to produce outstanding goal keepers and footballers who are presently blazing the trail in their respective secondary schools. Furthermore, in our pursuit to produce a totally balanced child, we also organize programmes like Inventors’ Day, International Day, Science Exhibition, Art Exhibition, Music Week, Career Day and our Biennial Inter House Sports, to mention but a few.

Our esteemed parents are not left out of the action. Beyond having a vibrant Parents – Teachers Forum to which every parent MUST belong, the school also organizes several programmes for parents. These include Gala Night, Family Fun Day, Parents’ Hangout Parties, Mothers’ Day Celebration, Father’s Day Celebration to mention a few.

Our members of staff are well taken care of. We have a Staff Handbook which spells out the terms and conditions for all members of staff. Time will not permit me the opportunity to mention the various welfare packages we have in store for our members of staff. Some of these include Long Term Service Awards, House Completion Loans, car loans, Educational Grants for Staff Children, School Fees Discount for Staff Children and so on.

This explains why our members of staff (teaching and non-teaching) are diligent and committed to the vision of the school and this has helped us to create a conducive environment for learning.

Beyond going through our website, I strongly recommend that you pay a visit to any of our annexes and you will be able to have a firsthand knowledge of what makes our school thick.
